Welcome to EmpowerED Advocacy Services, led by Julie Mendoza, M.Ed. With over 20 years of experience as a special education teacher and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Program Administration, I bring a wealth of expertise to support families navigating the special education system.
Having served in four different school districts across Washington State, I have a deep understanding of the complexities involved. As a dedicated parent and community member, I have advocated for my own child's needs and for many others, ensuring they receive the essential services and support required.
My specialization is guiding parents through the special education process, offering personalized assistance and advocacy to help achieve the best outcomes for their children.
